ABI Donation for Japan: $54

Hi there ABI artists and friends. This year has been noticeably slower for donations and participation in ABI. I haven’t been able to put the time into recruiting new artists and keeping everyone already involved motivated and inspired. I’m hoping to be able to put more time into it towards the end of the year, with possible changes to the format of ABI. I appreciate all those that have continued supporting the movement!

We were able to make a $54 donation to the relief efforts in Japan through World Vision.

Some 31 days since the 9.0-magnitude earthquake and tsunami, there are still thousands homeless, still thousands missing, and still thousands who must rebuild their lives from the rubble that this tremor has left behind. To that end, World Vision is still there — and will be, for the days, weeks, and months to come, helping children and families recover a sense of normalcy, stability, and independence. { excerpt taken from WV update, A Long Road Ahead }

After the quake I held an auction for Japan, donating the funds from a beautiful handmade scarf to ABI. And thanks to the additional donors:

So far, we’ve raised a total of

$962.52
